About Elizabeth

I have always had dogs and I grew up with smooth haired standard dachshunds. I got my first long hair standard dachshunds in 1996, Sam, my lovely shaded red boy.

I then bought my first long haired standard black and tan girl, Sabina, after registering as a registered breeder with Dogs Victoria, started my happy fur-filling journey breeding long haired dachshunds for over 20 years.

It has been a journey where breeding my puppies has created many wonderful connections, who have become a apart of my Dachyclan family, when they have purchased one of my puppies.

Further down the track, I purchased and brought out to Australia with a fellow Dogs Victoria registered breeder, Pablo (also known as Bronia Mr Pepys), another outstanding Bronia dog. Also in the journey, I have used a lovely black and tan boy, Micado Kingower (also known as Skittles) who has a strong Australian line largely from the Longlo Dachshund lines, one of the first long haired stud lines bred in Australia.

In 2011, I went to the UK where i met Fran Mitchell at Bronia Dachshunds, a world renowned long haired standard dachshund breeder and judge. On that visit, I met my two long haired standard girls, Tess (also know as Bronia Estee) and Nuala (also known as Bronia Camerlita) who I purchased and consequently brought to Australia. These two girls ended up being my foundation girls for my breeding lines.

After breeding over 25 litters, I have bred dogs who have done well in the show ring both in Victoria, around Australia and overseas. I have bred many high quality pets, who’s owners often still keep in contact.

I enjoy breeding standard long haired dachshunds with the breed standards in mind, doing my best to produce healthy well socialised puppies and dogs for the show ring and pets of good breed type.
